Define Scrum?
Scrum recognized as an agile framework that simply helps in the management of complex projects. The Scrum term coined by Nonaka and Takeuchi. The Scrum training comprises the Scrum Master Certification and Scrum Product Owner course. The method is thoroughly scrutinized by certifies, trainers. It is realistic, assessed and preserved as well.
The role of Scrum Master
Scrum Master handles all the work related to scrum at workplace. He is the person who is answerable for the project implementation. He has to act as a wall between product goals and barriers.
Responsibilities of Scrum Master
- At workplace, scrum master has to help Product Owners
- He has to make everyone understand about work and smooth conduct of it as well.
- He has to configure project implementation with scrum
- He makes teams self-organised
- He resolves issues for successful completion of project
The roles and responsibilities of Scrum Product Owner
The Scrum Product Owner is the main stakeholder. The PO keeps on checking the supply of product. In addition to this, he has to make everyone understand this. The PO keeps an eye on the project framework. Normally, PO also checks the review list. He also initiates the project and become the first user of the product. He gets regular update of the marketplace and the competition his team facing in day to day duration.
The role and responsibilities of Scrum Product Owner
Scrum Product Owner also knew as PO. He is the main stakeholder. He initiates the project. He has complete knowledge of the marketplace.
- Product Backlog: Product owner creates and maintains backlogs. His knowledge is updated with the changing technology. During sprint planning, the backlogs should be discussed.
- Scheduling backlogs according to business values: Product owner schedules backlogs before sprint planning meeting. The user stories must be ordered by their importance. It should be well known that which story is rank1 and which is rank2.
- Essential user stories’ themes and features accomplished for a single Sprint: During the elaboration of user stories, the PO should make the team understand about requirements.
- Delivers the Vision and Goals of sprints: Product Owner makes everyone understand the goals and visions of the team. This will keep teamwork on the track.
- Presence in Planning Meetings and Sprint Reviews: The presence of product owner is must at meetings and sprint planning meetings. This is because meetings are other chances to inspect.
- Review progress after every sprint: The PO has a responsibility to schedule the work and if the situation demands some amendment, he has full authority to do this.
- Changes after every sprint: The PO has the responsibility to change the way of doing at any stage either in the beginning or intermediate or at the final stage. The team should be flexible to adopt the change.
- Communicates well externally: He is the voice of his team to the outside world. He communicates well with them and gets the support that needed to succeed for a project. He stands for them where ever it is necessary as well.
